Nigerian Referee to Officiate Bo Rangers Match In CAF Champions League

A Nigerian referee has been appointed to oversee the upcoming clash between Bo Rangers FC and Algeria's CR Belouizdad in the second preliminary round qualifiers of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2023-23, designated as Match Number 49.

The match will be officiated by a quartet of FIFA-badge referees hailing from Nigeria. Scheduled for September 17th, 2023, the game will take place at the Southern Arena in Bo City.

At the helm of the officiating team stands Joseph Odey Ogabor, who assumes the pivotal role of centre referee. He will be ably assisted by two other accomplished Nigerian referees, whose combined expertise is expected to ensure a fair and precise adjudication of the game. To maintain the highest standards of officiating throughout the match, Kokou Djaoupe, a former Togolese international referee, has been appointed as the Referee's Assessor.
