"Isha Johansen and Fatima Samoura Shine at London Fashion Week, Celebrating Fashion and Philanthropy"

Former President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Isha Johansen, and FIFA Secretary General, Fatima Samoura, are poised to make an appearance at London Fashion Week. An array of renowned global figures will be present to celebrate the world of fashion and glamour.

Isha Johansen's remarkable endeavors at the Sierra Leone Women's Correctional Centre, where she combines the influence of football and fashion to drive social change and rehabilitation among female offenders, as well as raise funds for fines and legal representation, have garnered international recognition. Esteemed institutions such as FIFA, CAF, and recently Brussels Airlines, which donated five sewing machines to the Foundation, have taken notice. FIFA has also contributed by establishing a tailoring workshop, with personal financial contributions from FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura and FIFA Council Member Isha Johansen to support the foundation.

Johansen and Samoura have steadfastly supported and financed the Sierra Leone Women's Correctional Centre Rehabilitation Foundation. Samoura recently pledged to collaborate with Johansen's Women's Correctional Centre Rehabilitation Foundation and the Committee to help young girls and women chart a new path in life through football programs provided by FIFA and CAF at the centre, along with tailoring and arts training offered by local fashion designers.

Leading fashion industry luminaries, including Jenneh Amara Bangali of SWANK COUTURE, Pa Musa of PA MUSA DESIGNS, Hannah Foullah of SHEPOR, and Fredrica of J&F Designs (Just Fabulous), have been formally invited to the United Kingdom to showcase their designs at London Fashion Week in support of FASHION FOR CHANGE.

Diana Dahlia, CEO of DIANA DAHLIA PR, emphasized the importance of diversity and inclusion in fashion, business, football, and sports in general, highlighting how individuals from various backgrounds and cultures bring a necessary diversity of voices and perspectives.

The invitation to London Fashion Week marks a momentous and somewhat astonishing leap forward for the Sierra Leone Fashion Industry, unexpectedly thrust onto one of the world's largest fashion stages.

While some may find it surprising, this achievement is synonymous with Isha Johansen, whose outreach knows no bounds, and her ability to elevate the game by embracing humanity.

FIFA Secretary General Madam Fatma Samoura, Madam Lina Infantino, Mrs. Precious Motsepe, and numerous international figures have received invitations to this glamorous fashion event in London, scheduled for September 16th of this year.
