"Collaborative Healthcare Discussions Between MOHS and UNICEF in Sierra Leone"

The Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MOHS) recently convened a collaborative brainstorming session with UNICEF to discuss matters related to healthcare.

During this meeting, they engaged in a productive discussion concerning the insights derived from the Primary Health Care Optimization (PHCO) model, which is accessible as a hands-on learning approach.

Throughout the dialogue, they shared valuable lessons gleaned from their deliberations. Notably, they observed an increase in the coverage of maternal and child health indicators, as well as enhanced community involvement in efforts to enhance healthcare and promote healthier behaviors.

UNICEF, recognized as the world's foremost advocate for child rights, maintains an active presence in Sierra Leone with the primary goal of improving the quality of life for children and mothers in the nation.
