Magistrate Marke Ngegba, presiding at the Freetown Magistrate Court, has ordered the detention of ten individuals due to charges of unauthorized possession of a certain substance. The accused individuals were presented in the courtroom and are currently undergoing legal proceedings for the said offence. The legal proceedings were overseen by Magistrate Marke Ngegba.
Upon the completion of the hearing regarding the aforementioned substance, Magistrate Marke Ngegba decided to detain all ten accused persons at the Pademba Road Correctional Center located in Freetown. The case has been adjourned, and the next hearing is scheduled for September 1st, 2023, to further address the matter.
