Chernor Bah, the Minister of Information and Civic Education, has provided clarification regarding Sierra Leone's recent announcement about establishing an embassy in Israel.
This announcement was made in the past week after a conversation with Israel's Foreign Minister, Eli Cohen.
Bah emphasized that it would be inaccurate to jump to the conclusion that the government intends to open its embassy in Jerusalem. He reiterated that the government is currently engaged in ongoing discussions with the Israeli authorities to determine the most suitable location. "While we are actively in talks with the Israeli government, no specific location has been finalized," he remarked.
