Jacob Evangelista, a renowned musician from Sierra Leone who goes by the stage name "The Therapist," has called for a ceasefire within the country's entertainment sector. He specifically addressed the ongoing feud between Boss LA and Kao Denero, urging them to resolve their differences for the greater good of the industry.
The Therapist took to his social media account to express his belief that the sector could benefit greatly from a reconciliation between the two competitors. He noted that the long-standing feud between Boss LA and Kao Denero has been a major factor impacting the industry.
In the past, the two musicians were called upon by former President Ernest Bai Koroma to participate in a peace and reconciliation mission. While the mission was initially productive, it ultimately fell apart, leaving the industry largely unchanged.
The Therapist believes that if Boss LA and Kao Denero could come to an agreement, it could revolutionize the sector and even potentially lead to a Sierra Leonean win or nomination for a Grammy Award.
The Therapist concluded his plea by calling on all stakeholders in the industry to put aside their political differences and work together to make this happen. He believes that if these two men can come together, they can significantly transform the entertainment sector in Sierra Leone.
