A public notice from the Government of Sierra Leone has announced that Friday, April 21st, 2023 will be celebrated as Eid-Ul-Fitri, marking the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Consequently, the government has declared it a public holiday throughout the country. Muslims worldwide celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitri as a day of thanksgiving to Allah for his blessings and as a celebration of the end of a month of self-reflection and spiritual growth.
