According to reports, the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education, David Moinina Sengeh, has attributed the poor quality of voter's ID cards to the main opposition All People's Congress (APC).
The minister claimed that the dark photos on the cards were from the 2015 National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA) database and blamed the APC for the photo quality issues due to the migration of photos from the APC era.
Many locals have expressed dissatisfaction with the new voter's ID cards, citing missing addresses, names, and dark photos as irregularities.
Sierra Leone is set to hold a multi-tier election in June, with political analysts predicting a tough competition between the incumbent and the main opposition APC.
