German-Italian Young Leaders Dialogue Opens Applications for 2025 Edition
Applications are now being accepted for the 5th Edition of the German-Italian Young Leaders Dialogue, also known as the Spinelli Forum, scheduled for 2025. This fully funded program offers a unique platform for young leaders from Germany and Italy to engage in critical discussions about the future of the European Union and foster stronger bilateral relations.
Hybrid Format Combines Virtual and In-Person Engagement
The program will adopt a hybrid format, commencing with a virtual event on September 19, 2025. Participants will then attend two online workshops on October 6th and October 21st, 2025. The culmination of the program will be a two-day, fully funded in-person conference in Berlin on October 27th and 28th, 2025.

The Spinelli Forum 2025 aims to provide a supportive environment where participants can address key challenges facing the EU and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation between Italy and Germany. Participants will also gain access to a valuable network of Italian and German young leaders.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the German-Italian Young Leaders Dialogue, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be German or Italian citizens. Demonstrate a strong interest in European cooperation, particularly in the fields of defence and security policy, economics, artificial intelligence, or climate and energy policy. Be between 25 and 35 years old. Hold a first university degree (BA or MA) or equivalent qualification. Possess excellent command of the English language.
Application Process
Interested candidates must complete the online application form, providing personal and contact information, work/employment details, educational background, and preferred working group. Applicants will also be required to answer program-related questions and upload a CV. A crucial component of the application is a short video (up to 3 minutes) introducing the applicant and their motivation for participating in the program.
