President Julius Maada Bio has officially welcomed renowned evangelist Dag Heward-Mills to Sierra Leone, marking the commencement of the Healing Jesus Campaign in Freetown. This significant event underscores the nation's commitment to spiritual rejuvenation and unity. 

Upon his arrival on April 29, 2025, Evangelist Heward-Mills was warmly received by a delegation of ministers and members of the Body of Christ, reflecting the widespread anticipation for the campaign. The five-day crusade is set to take place at the Freetown Polytechnic Field in Jui, drawing thousands from across the country and beyond. 

The Healing Jesus Campaign, organized in collaboration with the Body of Christ in Sierra Leone, has garnered endorsements from prominent spiritual leaders across various denominations. The event aims to deliver messages of hope, healing, and salvation, fostering spiritual revival among attendees. 

Evangelist Heward-Mills, founder of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UDOLGC), has dedicated over two decades to full-time ministry. His extensive history of healing crusades spans 38 countries, resulting in over 10.5 million documented decisions for Christ. 

The campaign will feature nightly revival meetings starting at 5:00 PM, open to all attendees. Additionally, a three-day Pastors and Leaders Conference will be held from April 30 to May 2, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Flaming Evangelical Ministries on Syke Street. The conference offers two registration options: a standard fee of 50 Leones and a Makarios registration fee of 600 Leones, which includes access to the conference and 50 books authored by Dag Heward-Mills.

The Healing Jesus Campaign is a non-denominational event, welcoming individuals from all faiths and backgrounds. Its primary focus is the proclamation of the Gospel, with healing and miracles as accompanying blessings. The campaign emphasizes unity among various Christian organizations, aiming to foster moral and spiritual transformation in Sierra Leone. 

As the campaign unfolds, it is expected to have a profound impact on the nation's spiritual landscape, reinforcing the importance of faith and unity in Sierra Leone's development.
