"Sierra Leone and Morocco Initiate Implementation of Bilateral Agreements"

Sierra Leone's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Timothy Kabba, held discussions with his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, during their meeting in Morocco. These discussions marked the commencement of the implementation of 13 agreements covering various sectors such as Agriculture, Energy, Education, and Health.

Furthermore, the discussions included Morocco's intention to establish an embassy in Freetown, with plans for its inauguration potentially scheduled for the conclusion of September 2023.

Additionally, it was conveyed that a delegation from the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture is slated to visit Sierra Leone by the end of this month to kickstart the implementation of the agricultural agreement, aimed at enhancing productivity. The Sierra Leonean government has committed to providing land for a pilot state farm as part of this initiative.
