Sierra Leonean musician Famous recently addressed the chatter circulating on social media regarding the entertainment ambassadorship in Sierra Leone. During an interview with Tamba B on Afri Radio, Famous was asked about the public's desire for him to take up the role of entertainment ambassador, especially in light of the incumbent ambassador.
Famous expressed surprise at stumbling upon such discussions on social media but swiftly clarified that he didn't dwell on them. He underscored that his career transcends the scope of ambassadorship.
When questioned about how he might have responded if the current entertainment ambassador, Kao Denero, had taken offense at the social media buzz, given accusations of sensitivity, Famous emphasized the diverse range of human perspectives and reactions.
Regarding the possibility of Kao Denero accusing him of 'snatching' the ambassadorship if President Bio had appointed him, Famous conveyed that life encompasses both positive and negative facets, and people are entitled to their own viewpoints.
Famous also shared his belief that Kao Denero possesses the capacity to excel in the entertainment industry but noted his perception that Kao Denero hadn't given his best during his tenure. He criticized Kao Denero for what he perceived as a mean-spirited demeanour and offered advice for him to temper his meanness. He added that he would willingly accept the ambassadorship if President Bio extended the offer, although it wasn't currently on his agenda.
In his closing remarks, Famous stated that many people are endorsing him for the entertainment ambassador position because they believe he is the ideal candidate for the role.
