4 Sierra Leone Police Officers to Undergo Training in Egypt for Enhanced Policing Skills

Four law enforcement personnel hailing from the Sierra Leone Police force are poised to undergo an intensive 8-week training program at the International Security Training Centre in Egypt.

This quartet comprises Superintendent Monica Johnson, the Officer in Charge of the New England Ville Police Station; Superintendent Samuel Saio Conteh, Deputy Head of the Community Relations Department; Inspector Alieu Mansaray, the Media and Community Relations Officer; and Mohamed Teteh Fofanah, a member of the Operations Support Division.

The selection of these four officers by the Sierra Leone Police stems from their outstanding skills, unwavering dedication, and potential to enhance policing methods within Sierra Leone.

The training regimen will encompass vital aspects of community policing, human rights, leadership, and counterterrorism strategies.

The Sierra Leone Police anticipate that this training initiative will afford these officers the opportunity to establish connections, share experiences, and acquire invaluable insights from seasoned professionals and practitioners spanning the African continent.

This endeavour underscores the Sierra Leone Police's firm commitment to international peace, human rights, and security.
