Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh of Sierra Leone has initiated a collaborative effort with the President and CEO of the Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, aiming to achieve a unified and positive outcome for the nation's welfare.

Emphasizing the importance of cohesive teamwork, the Minister stressed the need for both parties to work together in harmony and coordination, focusing on the shared objective.

In his statement, he highlighted the significance of every individual's commitment to fulfilling their tax obligations, thereby supporting the government's efforts in implementing beneficial developmental initiatives.

He stated, "The President and CEO of the Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture responded positively to my proposal for engagement. We are in agreement that the public and private sectors must unite to foster national development. To achieve this, coherence, collaboration, and coordination are vital."

The Minister emphasized the collective responsibility of all sectors and industry organizations, urging them not only to present challenges but also to actively contribute solutions. Acknowledging the importance of taxes in facilitating progress, he urged everyone to contribute their fair share, highlighting that reduced profits do not equate to losses in the larger scheme of societal growth.
