Kenneth Brima, the Executive Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), provided financial support to the Kamboi Eagles Football Club in Kenema by donating Nle 20,000 on Sunday, 23rd April 2023.
Brima acknowledged that the Kamboi Eagles are the sole team representing the Kenema District in the Sierra Leone Premier League and require various forms of assistance to improve their performance. He expressed hope that the team and its management would work hard to bring joy to the people of Kenema and make the Kamboi Eagles a source of pride in Sierra Leonean football.
Christian Elogima Vandi, a former football captain, praised the team's performance and congratulated them on their 1-0 win over Real Republicans FC in the elite football league of the country. Brima has previously provided donations to various football teams and engaged in community service in the eastern region, including the Kahunla Queens, a female team in the Kenema district.
