A disturbing video has been circulating on social media in which a man identifying himself as Mr. Northernan takes responsibility for the killing of ASP Mathew Moiwah Gbanya, also known as "Boyka," in Makeni, Northern Sierra Leone. The man claims that he and others were involved in the officer's murder and warns that more deaths will follow.

In the video, Mr. Northernan alleges that ASP Gbanya was involved in the killing of citizens during the August 10 uprising in Sierra Leone. He also threatens to harm Abu-Abu, the Minister of State for the Northern Region, whom he accuses of similar crimes.

The man's statement has raised concerns about escalating violence and lawlessness in the country. The authorities are yet to make a statement on the incident.
