A ship flying the flag of Sierra Leone was apprehended by Guinea Authorities


Guinea has detained a ship flying the flag of Sierra Leone at Kamsar Port, following the discovery of several tons of cocaine by the authorities.

As per reports on national television, 60 bags of cocaine, weighing a total of 1.5 tons, were confiscated by authorities in the neighboring country. All ten crew members were apprehended by port security.

The western coast of the Atlantic is a commonly utilized transit point by drug smugglers for smuggling drugs into Europe.
