Malakai Bayoh, a young British singer of Sierra Leonean heritage, impressed the judges on Britain's Got Talent and advanced to the semi-finals after Simon Cowell pressed the Golden Buzzer.
Despite being only 13 years old, Malakai is already well-known in the opera community, having performed with Aled Jones.
Malakai's rendition of Pie Jesu received rave reviews from the audience, including his mother and sister, as well as judges Bruno Tonioli, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon.
Viewers at home also praised his performance, with some recognizing him from previous appearances with a prominent classical singer and at the Royal Opera House.
Simon was blown away by the performance, describing it as incredible, and he rushed to the stage to congratulate Malakai and send him straight to the semi-finals.
