Johannesburg - The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) has launched an investigation into a courier company after its packaging material was discovered wrapping a significant quantity of marijuana seized in Linbro Park. The drugs, with an estimated street value of R21 million, were uncovered following the arrest of two suspects on the M2 highway.

According to Johannesburg Public Safety MMC Mgcini Tshwaku, the JMPD acted on a tip-off regarding suspicious activity involving a vehicle on the M2.
