Program Details and Structure
The ASEF Training on Science and Technology Diplomacy commences with a seven-week online training program from October 23rd to December 4th, 2025. Participants will engage in webinars and interactive workshops led by field experts, fostering peer interaction and skill development. Selected participants from the online training will then be invited to attend the in-person Asia-Europe Youth Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark, from December 15th to 18th, 2025.
During the summit, young leaders will present their perspectives on Asia-Europe cooperation in science diplomacy, further expanding their professional network. The program is designed to provide an immersive learning experience for young professionals working in science, technology, and international relations.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the ASEF Training and Youth Summit, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be early-career professionals. Be up to 35 years old. Possess excellent verbal and written English language skills. Be proficient in the official language of their selected country. Currently work as a Research or Science Manager in areas of international science and technology, or as Diplomats/Government Officials working in the fields of international cooperation and science and technology diplomacy. Be working in one of the eligible Asian or European countries (listed below).
