Manty Tarawallie, the newly appointed Minister of State and Principal Assistant at the office of the Vice President, has expressed her full support for Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh.
Formerly serving as the Minister of Gender and Children's Affairs, Madam Tarawallie took to her official Twitter account to convey her commitment.
She expressed her enthusiasm and readiness to assist the Vice President in accomplishing President Bio's agenda during his second term in office. Madam Tarawallie also viewed her appointment as a remarkable opportunity and an honour, reflecting the President's high level of confidence in her abilities.
President Bio recently announced his initial selection of Cabinet Ministers and other prominent appointments.
In line with the Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (GEWE) Act, President Bio appointed a limited number of female Ministers, including Tarawallie, to acknowledge and promote gender equality and women's empowerment.
