Vickie Remoe Questions APC’s Presidential Candidate

Vickie Remoe, a communication strategist and social media influencer, has raised concerns about Samura Kamara's commitment to including women in his plans. Remoe's comments came in response to a post by the APC Presidential Candidate on social media, in which only one woman was present during his trip to the UK.

Remoe questioned whether there is a place for Sierra Leonean women at the top of the APC, given that only one woman was among the nineteen people who accompanied Kamara to the UK's House of Commons. She expressed her disappointment and called for greater representation of women in APC leadership.

During his visit, Kamara met with the UK's House of Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee to discuss the upcoming multitier election in Sierra Leone. Kamara emphasized the importance of engaging international partners and seeking support for free, fair, and transparent elections. He also reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the June 24 polls are conducted in a free and fair manner.

In other news, Remoe conducted an online poll which revealed that a majority of Kamara's supporters are impressed with his work in the education sector. Specifically, 39 percent of respondents said that they would vote for Bio because of his achievements in education.
