Sierra Leone's Minister Wishes Good Luck to Primary School Students Taking National Exam.

The Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary School Education in Sierra Leone, David Sengeh, has extended his well wishes to the 163,894 candidates from 4,790 schools and 567 centers who will be taking the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) on May 6th, 2023.

On social media, the Minister expressed his hope that all candidates will have good luck and positive energy, while encouraging them to do their best on the exam.

In Sierra Leone, the NPSE is a significant exam for primary school students since it determines their eligibility for secondary education. Those who perform well can move on to junior secondary school, while those who do not often have to repeat the final year of primary school.
