"Alusine Turay: A Disability Advocate and Blacksmith in Sierra Leone"

Alusine Turay, also known as Tunkoh or Carl Box, is a resident of Mafokoya village in Yoni Mabanta Chiefdom, Northern District of Tonkolili, who has inspired many with his work as a blacksmith and disability advocate.

Despite his physical deformity, Turay has proven that "Disability Is Not An Inability" and has made significant contributions to his community's socioeconomic development. He has gained a reputation for his expertise in creating farming tools, and farmers from neighboring villages and chiefdoms depend on him.

However, Turay has also faced challenges due to the non-availability of tools, which have become increasingly difficult to acquire due to economic hardship. Nonetheless, he remains determined to serve his community and continues to engage in social activities such as attending nightclubs.

Turay's resilience and dedication to his work have earned him the admiration of those around him, and he serves as an inspiration to many in Sierra Leone.
